“As sportsmen, we worry about a lot of things — what we eat, how we train, whenever we sleep — but this really is so much bigger than that, we are wearing something that’s lessening the impact on our planet and we can keep playing basketball plus help protect it for future years, ” said WNBA celebrity A’ja Wilson in a pr release.
Ross Klien, senior innovative director for performance shoes at Nike, said: “We asked ourselves a question which is guiding our process to the future: Can a product which makes the world better also create an athlete better? All of us wanted to create a synergy among making the world better in what we do, but also depart an impact for athletes to enable them to perform at a higher level. ”
