Dutch jeans brand Kings of Indigo has teamed up with Italian language denim mill Candiani in order to launch a new sustainable pills collection.
The collection is created using Coreva, Candiani’s trademarked biodegradable and compostable stretch out denim, which for the first time comes in three colourways – glowing blue, black and ecru.
The particular ‘Swim Upstream’ collection, which usually “invites the wearer to go contrary to the tide”, is characterised simply by vibrant patches and, faithful to King of Indigo’s brand style, is inspired simply by Japanese and Americana art work.
The outerwear pieces in the collection are based on classic jeans trucker jackets and France workwear jackets, all built using Candiani’s Coreva Technologies Denim and finished along with recycled-metal buttons.
The designs are available in mens, womens plus kids.
The collection can be obtained online as well as in-store solely at the Candiani Denim Shop in Piazza Mentana a few in Milan, Italy.
