Kendra Scott, who created her namesake Austin-based jewelry brand in 2002, is usually stepping down from her place at the helm of the firm.
Scott will continue within her role as professional chairwoman and majority proprietor leading design, customer encounter and philanthropy, the company stated Tuesday.
Taking over the reins of the business is Ben Nolan, who was appointed towards the brand’s board in 2014 before joining the brand in 2016 as main revenue and marketing official. In 2019, he had been promoted to president.
Just before joining Kendra Scott, Nolan held senior positions with Ralph Lauren, Conde Nast and as CEO of Possibility Brands, which he launched.
“Tom is an experienced professional with a relentless focus on the client, operational rigor, and solid expertise in digital modification, ” Scott said within a statement. “With Tom inside my side as CEO, I could continue to focus on what I possess always seen as the primary of the brand – excellent design, strong philanthropic influence and a continued commitment to the customer. ”
Nolan left a comment: “The retail industry is continually evolving, and I’m excited to continue to work alongside Kendra in this new role not to only provide sustainable worth, but also with a shared obligation to serve our clients and continue to positively influence people’s lives every day by means of our philanthropy efforts. ”
