Danish fashion brand Ganni provides unveiled a rental-only assortment of reworked pieces to enjoy its Copenhagen Fashion 7 days digital four-day live encounter, culminating with a live music performance on February four.
The rental ‘Stage’ selection is the brand’s latest version of its fashion pop-up idea, Ganni Kiosk, and will be accessible to rent in Denmark as well as the UK on Ganni Do it again repeat. ganni. com.
Including 26 styles, the selection expands upon the music inspiration of the Ganni Appreciate Forever digital live encounter and features a selection of special, custom made past-season Ganni items that have been embroidered, spray coated, reimagined with cut-outs plus embellished by hand.
Standout designs include a rhinestone-encrusted cone utomordentligt leather jacket, a two-tone sequin denim jacket, plus hand-painted flame boots.
Activities on the collection, Ditte Reffstrup, creative director, Ganni, mentioned: “This season, we desired to create a ‘stage collection’ in order to mark the energy of the live concert and our love meant for music. I thought back to viewing MTV and concerts while i was a teen.
“Think well-known looks from David Bowie, Madonna’s Blond Ambition visit or a sprinkle of Elton John sequins. We were influenced by the transformative power associated with fashion and how when you go out on stage, you can be anyone. ”
The collection also winners young local talent, Copenhagen artist and costume developer, Nanna Bernholm, who individuals Reffstrup to create custom-made items, with a focus on responsibly reusing and reworking existing designs and fabrics from prior Ganni collections.
Each of the designs can be rented out, using the consumer choosing to lease for one, two or as much as three weeks. Rental costs range from 26 pounds for the tie-dye long-sleeve T-shirt in order to 78 pounds for an adorned heart fringe leather jacket for a week.
The four-day musical encounter taking place during Copenhagen Style Week until February four is live on the brand’s website and social media stations and showcases the autumn/winter 2021 collection through the moderate of music.
Described as a good “upbeat, inclusive” approach to an electronic digital fashion week presentation, the idea explores Reffstrup’s love to get music, while also enabling the brand to champ three international female performers from Copenhagen, Los Angeles plus New York to bring the selection to life – Coco Um., Deb Never and Zsela.
Throughout the week, each musician will share uplifting enjoy songs with the Ganni local community, alongside the autumn/winter selection. Songs will include cover tunes of Ditte’s most desired 90’s bangers plus primary tracks from the artists.
Reffstrup, added: “In these topsy-turvy times, we wanted to generate something beaming with power, to spread some positivity and optimism right now. Our own autumn/winter 2021 collection is about love. Our love for a lifetime, for music and all those things we took for granted. Songs is my biggest supply of inspiration. I miss the particular dance floor and the power that music gives me. We can’t wait to experience these types of super talented artists plus their take on some of the best songs.
