Fashion Rely on Arabia (FTA) is an unique philanthropic initiative focused on scouting, financing and nurturing design skill across the MENA (Middle Eastern and North Africa) area, while bringing global attention to its burgeoning style industry.

Each year on the FTA Awards Ceremony, five winning designers receive an economic grant of up to $200, 1000, and benefit from an one-year partnership with the London-based worldwide luxury retailer MATCHESFASHION. POSSUINDO, which includes a mentorship program plus showcase of their collections throughout all channels. The FTA winning designers will also get a specialised guidance on sustainability through Maison de Mode.
The winners of final year’s FTA 2020 Honours, which took place virtually in-may 2020, include Salim Azzam (Ready-to-Wear), Ammanii (Ready-to-Wear), Mukhi Sisters (Jewelry), Yousef Akbar (Eveningwear), Andrea Wazen (Accessories) and Zeid Hijazi (Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award).
